With the opening of Downtown Line 2 on 27 Dec 2015, Symphony Heights residents now enjoy via the Hillview Station, the convenience of an efficient MRT network making major locations in Singapore easily accessible.  Going to Little India and Chinatown is now just a train ride away.  The Hume Station under construction since 2021, is expected to open in 2025.  That will bring the Downtown Line to the doorstep of Symphony Heights.
